THE LEARNING CENTER

Nestled in peaceful Franklin, Tennessee, the Ki of Life Learning Center is an educational haven that supports people in their journey to health.

Founded by Virginia M. Harper, the center is a safe space where Ki of Life's dedicated team works together to teach people to find balance and wellness. Virginia believes that: "health is not something that you need to acquire, it is something that you already have." She realized early on in her own healing experiences that a focused daily routine can revitalize health. The people at Ki of Life believe that education put into practice is the key to achieving freedom from the fear of illness and disease.

Ki of Life Learning Center bases teachings in the laws of balance, and classes are available for every level of participant. The KOLLC teaches clients to support the health that was instilled in them at birth, through balanced nutrition, and a positive mental state. Studies in macrobiotic principles is one fundamental approach that the KOLLC offers. By understanding basic natural laws of balance, all people can achieve greater health and vitality. Other services are provided at the center to supplement the teachings of Macrobiotics. Ki of Life is dedicated to a whole body, while mind, and whole spirit approach to health.

While at the learning center, clients can expect individualized services and support to help them understand how to achieve personal well being. Ki of Life is committed to bringing people together in a supportive community of personal health and balance.

MACROBIOTIC LIFESTYLE TRAINING: A one-of-a-kind approach that allows you to stay at the center and learn by doing. This approach gives you the time to incorporate and internalize the information needed to go home and 'live what you have learned'. This is an intensive program that requires residency at the KOLLC for the duration of your training. It is recommended to anyone and everyone who desires a major lifestyle change towards better health and vitality. This program has benefited everyone that has participated and has saved many lives. Check out the Macrobiotic Lifestyle Training page to learn more about this program.

MACROBIOTIC COUNSELING AND COACHING: If you are living in the Middle Tennessee area, an alternate approach to our MLT program (negating the in house option) is to schedule a one on one consultation with Virginia M. Harper. Included is a cooking class, and 1 month of weekly supportive coaching. A macrobiotic consultation is a necessity for evaluating your bodies’ weaknesses and conditions. Virginia is an experienced counselor with the ability to target your health conditions and design an approach to eliminate harmful illnesses from your body. See Macrobiotic Counseling for more information.

PASSPORT TO HEALTH: New experiences, new foods, new friends! Your Passport to Health is a unique plan to enable you to try a variety of classes and services available at the Ki of Life Learning Center, and save money at the same time. For each NEW! Passport you buy ($100 or $200) you get an added value of $10 or $20 respectively - to be used within the quarter. Each time you take a class, the amount is deducted from your Passport to Health. If you are left with a balance at the end of the quarter, you may pay the difference to use the Passport up that quarter. Remaining balances at the end of each quarter will be considered a donation to the KOLLC. Each new quarter we will be offering a new Passport to Health.
